We're in Florida this week, hooked back up with Lady Gaga on the Fame Ball tour.

Lovin it, its warm and sunny and the women are so fine down here. Heard it snowed back home in Chi-town this weekend. All I have to say is sucks to be you, we're in Florida bitches.

While we're down here, going to go Disney World. Then we got Bamboozle and Warped coming up. Good times all the way around.

Gotta go suck up some rays now and do some bikini stalking before show time

Finally got some time to check back in and see waz up over here on da buzznet. Been on the road non-stop with Lady Gaga, went up to Canada, flew down to Miami to do a spring break show and flew back to Denver yesterday to hook back up with the tour with a show tonight.

Lady Gaga show is amazing, check it out if u can. After that we got Bamboozle and Warped coming up and hooking up with the All American Rejects in Texas. This year is turning out to be crazy good, still can't believe that we're actually doing some of this shit.

A lot of you guys have noticed that Ryan C isn't with us anymore. He left a few weeks ago to do other things and we miss him and wish him the best.

So here we are back on the road again, or home as we have been calling it for the last few years. Its only the first month of the new year and so many great things have already been happening, including some of our first headlining shows, thank you all so much for coming out. hello yall, i wanted to drop a new blog to fill everyone in on whats going on in my life. We are on the Second Hand Seranade tour for the next month and then right on to the Lady GaGa tour, Busy spring. I did a remix  of the Good Charlotte song " All Black " featuring Mat Devine from Kill Hannah that was just released on the  GC remix album and also if you are part of the Metro Station fan club they are giving away a remix of the song 17 Forever that i worked on, so if you get a chance take a listen and let me know what you think. Our song" Candle ( Sick And Tired ) has hit the radio so if you hear it make sure you request it. This year is going to be a lot of fun and hard work but im very lucky and excited. "Candle (Sick and Tired)"

We suck and we're sorry. The Candle contest has been over for a long time now and we haven't announced a winner yet. Why? Well, we could say its cause we were busy on tour and filming our own video and doing interviews and stuff like that but the truth is...uh...we suck.

So, in order to make up for being a bad band and sucking out loud for so long, we promise a winner will be announced by next week and we'll see about throwing in a little something something to make up for being so lazy. We've been looking over all the videos this week and they are all great; everyone put in a lot of time and effort and that really shows. The hard part is going to be picking just one that we can all agree on.

Sorry for making you wait and we promise never to suck again...unless of course you want us to, in which case something could be worked out.

Hey it's Chris, I'm a little shaken, but not stirred...
I'd like to start off by saying this has been an amazing year for The White Tie Affair, but early in the morning of the last day of 2008, we had a harsh reality check.

It was like 3 am and Ryan C was driving us home from an amazing show in Metamora, IL. Ryan, Pergo (our tour manager), and I had just dropped the rest of the band and were a few minutes from home when the van and trailer started sliding sideways. I was actually sleeping in the back, but I guess we were on an icy bridge. The van and trailer spun 360 deg hitting a wall on the highway. Breaking out a side/rear window and smashing in the whole front and side of the van and trailer. I was awaken by shattered glass in my face and my whole body being thrown against the seat in front of me. Luckily Ryan had slowed down to about 30 mph when the van hit the wall. When the van finally stopped we were in the middle of 2 lanes of the icy highway. I instantly got up and looked out the broken window only to see a semi driving right towards us. It was seriously one of the scariest moments of my life (I may or may not have screamed like a little girl). Luckily the truck slammed on its brakes and didn't slide into us. Ryan got off the road a few seconds later. The van is really messed up, but it still drove, and one of the headlights worked. So even though we were shaken up, we decided to drive home. I drove the rest of the way home at about 10 miles and hour. All of the wheels were wobbling and making strange sounds the entire time, I was convinced one of them would fall off haha, but we made it home!!
I'm soooo glad someone was watching over us, and that none of us were hurt or injured. Although, I do have a pretty big bruise on my left arm... This is the first accident I have ever been in, so I'm definitely a little scared of touring this winter, but nothing is going to stop us from doing what we love! We'll just have to be very careful

And now I can't sleep. I'm now home laying in my bed thinking of all the amazing things we've done and places we've played this year. Never in a million years did I think that in 2008 I would release and album, sing onstage w/ Cindy Lauper, play the playboy mansion, hang out w/ Billy Ray Cyrus, make friends w/ Rosie O'donnell, be on MTV, and play shows with hundreds of people singing every word of our songs. Songs that were written in my bedroom while my parents were asleep, as dreamed of one day having a crowd that wanted to listen :) I just can't help but think of all the amazing fans we have gained. All the amazing people we get to meet every night on tour. Seriously, you are the reason we do this! 2008 has been so amazing for us, and we cannot wait for 09. We have a big year of touring coming up, so hopefully we'll get a new van and trailer soon... This is our dream and thank you for all of your support. See you in 2009.

Well we're currently making the 2,000 mile drive home from Los Angeles to Chicago and looking back on what has been the longest and best tour of our lives. I can't believe that in 6 weeks, we've seen every climate there is and caught every kind of cold there is haha. Cash Cash & Metro Station were such awesome guys to hang out with everyday and we can't wait to tour with them again soon... Anyways, thanks to everyone who came out and sang along with us. Especially during our Lil' Wayne cover :) It was soo amazing to hear the whole crowd singing along. I can't wait to hear all of you singing along to our songs next time we come around. Thanks for taking the time to come say hi to us after the shows. It really means alot to us!!!
Check out our new midwest tour dates. There are now 2 Chicago shows in Dec!!!! We should be touring all of next year, so we'll be posting more dates very soon.
