November 28, 2008KEVIN LYMAN IS ASKING YOU TO TAKE ONE MINUTE TO VOTE FOR WARPED TOUR AND THE ECO INITIATIVE!!!
Note from Kevin: We at the Vans Warped Tour try every year to make our impact on the environment a little less destructive and a little more eco-friendly. It's been a process that I'm proud to say has done a little better each and every year. I'm also proud to say that we wouldn't have come close to accomplishing the many things we've done over the years if it weren't for people like Erin and Tara. They care SO much about this project that THEY searched out this Ideablob grant and have been doing everything in their power to win it. So I'm asking you to take a moment, vote and help get the word out. Email this to your friends. Post it on your MySpace & Facebook pages - do your part! I'm very excited to see what these girls and the rest of our Eco Team will do this summer, but would be stoked to see what they could do with an extra $10,000!!!!
Thank you, Kevin Lyman The Warped Eco Initiative has made it to the FINALS for a $10,000 grant from Ideablob and we need YOUR help to make sure we win! Here's all you have to do (this takes only minutes): 1. Go to the "Warped Eco Initiative: Change is a Sound" Ideablob page(http://ideablob.com/ideas/3622-Change-is-a-Sound-The-Warped) 2. Click the "Vote!" icon on the right hand side of the page 3. If you do not have an Ideablob account, you need to register but it only takes a few worthwhile moments - really! 4. Activate your account via an email sent to your registered email account 5. Return back to the "Warped Eco Initiative: Change is a Sound" Ideablob page(http://ideablob.com/ideas/3622-Change-is-a-Sound-The-Warped) 6. CLICK VOTE!! If you have more than one email address, you can vote from each of them! The Warped Eco Initiative began in 2005 and has grown to include a volunteer driven recycling program, solar powered stage, solar canopies, biodiesel fueling, compostable/reusable dishware in catering, eco-driven contests, a partnership with Earth Echo International, band volunteer participation program, and more! "In the end, we will conserve only what we love. We love only what we understand. We will understand only what we are taught." Thank you, The Vans Warped Tour

September 2, 2008Touring do’s and don’ts: 40+shows, 1 mild concussion, & the best summer ever!!!
We made it home yayy!!! This summer we pretty much played the entire u.s. and even a Canada date. We were blown away with all the bands, places and fans we met on this tour. We love all of you and will be back soooooon!!! I'm pretty excited to have a little bit of time off, (my mom misses me) but we are sooo ready to get back on tour in October!!!! Make sure to catch us on our next tour w/ the Higher, Just Surrender & The Morning of
Here's what we've managed to learn from being out for 6 weeks w/ Kill Hannah, Innerpartysystem, and The Medic Droid. Do's and Don'ts of The Hope For the Hopeless tour. -Do: Start a band and tour the country w/ your best friends and get a merch girl named Laci. It's best thing anyone can do! -Don't: Get drunk and lose your two-day old iPhone (not me) -Do: Mess with the outside of the medic droid's van as much as possible. Although, they did retaliate by tarring and feathering our van w/ honey and flour. 3 car washes later, it's finally gone. -Don't: Try too hard to flirt w/ Kat Von D b/c I'm pretty sure she wasn't into me. Plus I think she's dating a member of motley crue. (she came to the l.a. show) -Do: Start an acoustic rap group named Jeff for president (follow this link and listen to "jeff for president freestyle" in the player) http://www.jamnow.com/thewhitetieaffair -Don't: Give out your phone number to Hektor from The Medic Droid b/c he will give it to everyone he sees. (I still get random texts from people lol) -Do: Throw panties on stage at us (3 pairs!!! Thanks nyc) -Don't: Steal my microphone from me during our set. It's really hard to sing without it (haha orlando) -Do: Watch The Dark Knight at least 3 times ( I did) It's was that awesome -Don't: Run up the stairs at full speed and not expect to get nailed in the head with a bass drum. Ughh I was a bloody mess and my head hurt for days!!! -Do: Speak with an "english accent" on stage because people will totally believe you're British haha -Do: Make signs for us (it makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside) Thanks again everyone who came out to see us this summer. Thanks for making it greatest summer of our lives. Chris & TWTA October tour w/ the Higher, Just Surrender & The Morning of. Who's coming???? Check out the dates!!! myspace.com/thewhitetieaffair
